StandforIndia is a collective initiative of socially sensitive individuals who want to use the Film, Media and Performing Arts to make a statement & more importantly, a difference.
We use the power of film, theatre, dance and song to address socially relevant issues.  We select a subject, do our extensive resarch on the subject, and then make a product for a target audience to make them understand that issue, the causes behind that issue and how we think that issue can be tackled on the basis of our resarch.
So,  Whether we make a movie or we make a stage play or we create a song, the objective is very clear that whether the final product is able to make the target audience understand the nuiances of issue or not.
When we started this venture as a team, we were very clear that we didn’t want to make a profit out of these products becausee when you have a commercial aspect, obviously you need to make certain changes here and there to make it commercially viable.
So the whole idea is focus on the core issue while performing or making a film and make it for a target audience who need it.Â
But,  At the same time, We are not here to preach, so our products show you the real picture with emotion and life and may suggest you a few ways to help you out and believes that you will take a right decision from there.
